Elena was a colleague of mine in the Hoogenraad lab and in this paper proposes a model in which MAP6's palmitoylation mediates microtubule stabilization, allows for efficient organelle trafficking, and controls axon maturation in vitro and in situ. Together we can have broader conversations about and with data."
